If you want smooth underarm skin and you’re not into waxing or laser hair removal, never fear — with the right razor, products and shaving technique, your armpits will be smooth and beautiful. Whether you want to flaunt a sundress or an evening gown, flawless pits are essential. Preventing razor bumps and ingrown hairs isn’t impossible if you take a few extra moments in the shower. The key to making your armpits look smooth and beautiful is treating your skin well.
Instructions
- Lather the bath pouf with mild soap and scrub your armpits gently in a circular motion. Do this every day to keep your skin exfoliated and smooth, and to help prevent ingrown hair.
- Rinse the soap from your armpits to wash away dead skin cells. Lather them again with the same mild soap.
- Hold your arm above your head so your skin is taut. Shave your armpits with a fresh blade on a multi-blade razor. Use one with a moisturizing gel strip for extra softness. Shave slowly and gently, downward at first, then upward.
- Rinse your armpits and pat them dry with a soft towel. Do not rub, as this can cause irritation.
- Wait until your armpits are dry before applying an unscented, hypoallergenic deodorant. Use a clear gel to prevent unsightly deodorant marks that white sticks can leave behind
